Bio
My name is Olivia Grace, preferably known as liv, a documentary photographer graduating in Commercial photography at the Arts University Bournemouth. I am passionate about recreating and following stories within my images, so they all have their own contextual meanings. A project of mine that I fell in love with was ‘Taken by the Sea’ which follows the life of 82-year-old George Gardiner and the devastation caused to his home by a landslip on the Isle of Wight.
The process and technique of using a film camera is something that I find sparks my love for documentary photography. By developing a singular image from one moment really signifies that documentation process for me and makes that one image truly mean something.
AUB has allowed me to work alongside people with similar passions to myself and learn new things from the people around me to further my expertise in the photography field. I have established skills in Photoshop, Lightroom and Capture One, to which I can use confidently.
